We had a very ethical day today! We turned in the Why Psych paper today; if you were gone then turn it on on Tues and indicate on the paper that you were absent otherwise I will take off late points! If it is just simply late then please write LATE on the top of it! Today we discussed the ethics of studies and experiments in Psychology. We also had those who wished to present for extra credit do so, then we ended with a review game.

3. If your group got first place in the Review Game today please put a +4 on the top of your test. If your group got second place please put a +3 on the top! If you lie about your group winning (I know who it should be) then I will deduct points off your test!

1 February 2012

Today we learned about the components of an experiment. We discussed some more examples to help clarify what the different variables mean. We also took the name test today! If you missed today then you will need to come in and pick up a handout, take the quiz, and take the name test.
Announcements:
1. Don't forget the reading for next time's quiz.  The guided notes for it will be up by 5pm today.

2. If you want to present for extra credit on Friday, please come prepared with a 1-2 minute presentation.  In order to receive extra credit for it you will need to briefly summarize, not read from, your paper.  Your options for presenting are a portion of your Why Psych paper or your social norm assignment.
NOTE: I know I said you could present something from your Modern Perspectives assignment, but that doesn't make much sense so its only the Why Psych of social norm. :)

3. I will not provide an additional review for your test.  If I were to make one it would a lot like your guided notes, so use those and the assignments to study!

See you on Friday!
